Heat Pumps Direct is a custom coded bespoke ecommerce website. An up and coming area of the renewable heating industry, heat pumps are seen to be the next big thing. Simple, elegant and effective, utilising PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, xHTML, CSS – validated to strict standards.

wImg is a Free Image & File Hosting website that I coded from the ground up using PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, AJAX, CSS & HTML. It is constantly being added to, and is entirely there for portfolio reasons & as an example of my work. There is a fully working admin backend for the staff to deal with TOS breaking images/files.

Refresh Text is a multi-lingual twitteresque website. It was created for a Polish client who saw a niche in Poland for this type of site, it makes extensive use of custom AJAX, as well as PHP, MySQL and other JavaScript functions. The site is available in both Polish & English depending on the URL it is accessed from. RefreshText also allows shouts to be sent via SMS.

SCIBA (Sussex County Indoor Bowls Association) contacted me requesting help migrating their site from an old, limited, custom coded CMS to WordPress. With the migration, a new website was designed and that used with WordPress, instead of recoding an old template.

Kevin Simpson is a friend who is also a designer. He designed & coded (in HTML/CSS) his own portfolio, however there were some more advanced features that he wanted help with coding in jQuery, AJAX, PHP & MySQL. These more advanced features really help to compliment his stunning portfolio.

Tu-Du is a Simple – Task – Management website. Allowing users to quickly and easily manage their tasks, not just in their browser, but across many platforms including SMS, Twitter and email.

wkdBoards is a free remotely hosted message board system. It is written solely in PHP & MySQL. This is something that I am working on for a friend, and have inherited the job. I develop and maintain the backend, and am in the process of rewriting large chunks of the old coding to be more efficient and faster.
