About Me
My name is Michael Wright and I’m a 20 year old Web Developer specialising in PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, AJAX, xHTML and CSS. In my free time I enjoy photography, socialising and playing XBOX.
I began working with websites at the age of 12 at school. However, nothing really came of it until about a year or two later when I set up my own website on FreeWebs. It wasn’t anything impressive, but just gave me a chance to get to know HTML & CSS.
Many years later, I am now studying a BSc Honors degree in Web Development at Staffordshire University. My first year is complete, and I have managed to gain a first in all of my modules.
In my spare time I enjoy using my web skills for freelancing, as well as developing a few websites for my own needs. These sites can be found within my portfolio section.
When I’m not developing websites, I enjoy socialising with many of my friends, experimenting with my camera and playing COD on my XBOX 360. I also enjoy teaching myself new programming languages, and staying up to date with current web practices.
